Ever since his first job waiting tables at his father’s restaurant, Steve Roeenfeldt has had a knack for crafting quality cocktails. After opening a cocktail kit business, Steve was inspired to begin making step-by-step cocktail videos onto a Youtube channel. What he didn’t know was how much of a hit they would become.

Steve The Bartender is passionate about crafting unique spirits, good vibes, and great times. Cocktail Guide

Packed with some of his favorite recipes Steve’s Instagram and Youtube have become a space for delightful concoctions and aesthetically pleasing imagery. But he didn’t stop there.

Steve’s got a book coming out just in time for the holidays called, Steve The Bartender’s Cocktail Guide and it’s packed with more than 100 curated drink recipes.

Each recipe is paired with integrated QR codes that send readers to his viral, step-by-step videos.

To pre-sell his book, Steve said he’s going with the Shopify Starter Plan. It was the perfect fit, he said, because of how easy it is to set up and share online.

“I picked the Starter Plan because I got one product, and it’s super easy to share a simple checkout link on my socials. It’s optimized for making a sale, which is great,” Steve said about the setup process.

Unlike his previous cocktail kit business, the Starter Plan costs $5 a month after the 14-day free trial period.

“It’s a brilliant way to get started. I got set up in under an hour, and you can test your product if you’re wondering if there’s a market,” Steve said. “It’s a super inexpensive way to test out a product, and see if you do have an audience behind it.”

Tune in to the full Shopify Masters episode to hear how Steve The Bartender grew his social media channels and why Shopify’s Starter Plan might be right for you.
