TIMOTHY RICHARD MCCOOL BALLENA, 34, Des Moines, Washington passed away August 8, 2021, in Seattle Washington. He was born in Seattle on October 30, 1986, the son of Rufo and Machell Ballena.

Timothy was an ambitious, hard working entrepreneur, business man and the proud owner of Fresh Mobile Detail, LLC. In 2018, he graduated from the University of Washington, Michael G. Foster School of Business where he completed his Bachelors of Arts in Finance and Information Systems. While in school, he also worked as a part-time Metro Transit Operator. Then later transferred to another King County department where he worked full-time in his latest role as a Residential Real Estate Appraiser.

Timothy was very passionate, creative, and driven, he drew inspiration from watching Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao fight. Timothy was so inspired that he proudly joined the University of Washington Boxing Team (Go Dawgs!) where he remained undefeated with 3 wins. As an avid book reader, he was always learning and trying new things; his latest interests included wholesaling and e-commerce.

In his spare time he loved spending quality time with his family and daughter, Leah, along with flying his drone and going on spontaneous adventures such as biking, going off-roading and Sasquatch hunting. He also loved playing basketball and softball and, was overjoyed when his softball team won the league championship. Timothy was also passionate about cars and airplanes and showed promise of a bright future. He enjoyed the flashy, finer things in life and definitely loved food.

Timothy was the life of the party. He always had the biggest smile and most goofy, caring personality with the biggest heart. He prided himself in being the toughest and most protective big brother to his three little sisters. He lived life in the fast lane but always made sure to pause and soak in the beautiful simple moments. He was not afraid to take the road less traveled and he marched to the beat of his own drum, making sure to always teach his daughter, younger cousins, and siblings that it was alright to be different and chase your dreams.

Timothy was the one and only son and brother, survived by his parents, Rufo and Machell Ballena, daughter Leah Ballena, and sisters Victoria, Veronica, and Valarie Ballena.
